This week marks the 4ᵗʰ Anniversary of SONI Wealth and it has been an incredible journey to get to where we are now.
We have been on a mission to educate, inspire and create multi-millionaires through property. We are extremely proud of the outcomes we have been able to achieve for our clients. Whether it is about crafting tailored strategies, educating our clients, or managing their investments, Team SONI has been pushing the boundaries to deliver excellent outcomes.
I am grateful to all our clients, our partners, and our people, for their trust, support, and belief in SONI Wealth. The journey over the past 4 years wouldn’t have been possible without you.
WHY SONI WEALTH WAS ESTABLISHED
My journey started in 2007 and after almost a decade of working in the Property Investment industry, I realized that most businesses were based on a transactional model with the primary purpose of buying or selling properties. The relationship ended once the transaction was over. My experience with clients during all those years had me appreciate the fact that they needed a lot more help than just buying or selling a property. They needed someone who can help with their long-term journey, someone who can hold their hand throughout the challenges, and someone who can guide them through to build a secure financial future.
In 2017, I decided to follow my heart and passion and founded SONI Wealth with a simple dream to build an organization where like-minded people can come together and help busy professionals and families invest in property with confidence. The focus was to establish a relationship-based business, where we help people build generational wealth safely and take care of all aspects related to property investments.
OUR SYSTEM
We have established a unique and proven system - Unleash Your Wealthᵀᴹ which is our trademark.
From educating our clients on how to build wealth through property investments, to researching and finding the right products for their needs, project managing the entire process from contracts to settlements, taking care of the finance needs and the Property Management aspect post settlement, to ongoing portfolio reviews, we manage the end-to-end process for our clients and aim to make it as seamless as possible.
REFLECTION
As we enter the 5ᵗʰ year, I look back and reflect on some of the biggest challenges we faced and some important milestones we were able to achieve.
THE CHALLENGES:
The biggest challenge we faced since our inception was during the pandemic years of 2020/2021. Melbourne was subject to the world’s strictest and longest lockdowns, and that made our job extremely hard.
Our Property Management team had to work around the clock to deal with numerous tenancy challenges and newly changed rental reforms. However, our team stayed strong and navigated through those times to ensure our investors were protected and achieved the best outcomes possible.
As a business, we also had to pivot. We focused on one of our core values ‘Innovation’ and recreated our model to move toward digital engagement and communication while ensuring that relationship building remains a key focus. Whilst we actively supported our existing clients, we also expanded our reach nationally. In fact, since the launch of our new model, over 50% of our new clients have been from outside Victoria.
THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Our clients currently hold investment properties worth over $111 million, secured through our help. This consists of millions of dollars worth of growth they have achieved over the years.
Over 20% of our clients are amongst the top 3.9% of property investors in Australia with 4 or more investment properties.
Our clients are raving fans of our Property Management arm of the business with numerous 5-star reviews.
Whilst we are based in Melbourne, we have helped many clients across Australia and Overseas to invest in Melbourne.
90% of our team members have been our clients at some stage prior to joining the organization, and 70% of them are already within the top 1% of property investors in Australia.
THE FUTURE
With rising inflation, increasing interest rates, and geopolitical tensions in the world, there is an underlying uncertainty and anxiety in the market, and our clients need us more than ever to guide them through the short-term challenges and make informed investment decisions. We have been gearing up to provide all the support our clients will need to continue their wealth creation journey, and it is our promise to them, that we will be with them every step of the way in the years ahead.
We are continuously striving to make a bigger impact, investing in newer tools, technology, and our people which will enable us to reach more families, make property investment more accessible, and building wealth more achievable.
